There are two types of introductions and both last approximately three hours:
1. A Special Evening about The Landmark Forum, a large event led by a Landmark Forum leader held monthly at Landmark offices.
2. An Introduction to The Landmark Forum, a smaller local gathering led by trained Introduction leaders held almost daily throughout the world. Contact your local Landmark office for dates and times.
I signed up for Landmark Forum’s 3 day course. What can I expect at orientation?
Participants are given an overview—a sense of what they might expect, as well as tips and ideas for how to get the most value. The daily schedule is reviewed, and there is an opportunity to ask questions.
The stage is set for people to engage powerfully with the material, maximize the value of their participation, and produce unprecedented results in a short period of time.
The Landmark Forum covers a range of topics. For example, Change vs. Transformation. What is the difference?
We take for granted that things “are” a particular way. To effect change, we go to work on altering circumstances, the people around us, even ourselves. In this session, we explore the difference between change and transformation. Change is essentially a comparison to something that previously existed. By its very nature, change is past-based. Essentially, change yields more, better, or different from what came before. Transformation, on the other hand, is an act of bringing forth or inventing. It is something created, and is inherently expansive and infinite.
It is here in this section of The Landmark Forum that the shift, or transformation, occurs for people. This dramatic shift enables us to think and act outside existing views and limits, and to redefine ourselves and the reality we have known.
What is the Landmark Forum for teenagers and young adults?
These two separate three-day programs leave young people and teens empowered to be responsible for their lives, create new possibilities, deal effectively with others and feel confident in their own choices. Participants explore the freedom to face challenges powerfully and be fully self-expressed.

The first step in becoming a Landmark Forum leader is to successfully complete the Landmark Introduction Leaders Program and either the Seminar Leaders Program or the Self-Expression and Leadership Leaders program. As a Landmark Forum Reviews leader, you’ll receive intensive training and one-on-one coaching in the distinctions of transformation, and hands-on experience in expressing them effectively. You will also play a key role as part of a dynamic team and develop a network of accomplished colleagues committed to transformation.
