  • BITS Pilani

BITS Pilani, also known as Birla Institute of Technology and Science, is one of the best private colleges or universities in Pilani, India. The college focuses on education and research in engineering and sciences. The college became the first internationally deemed university after expanding its campus in Dubai, spearheading engineering, science, and research with about four campuses and 15 academic departments.

Established in 1964, the university has expanded its campuses from Pilani to Hyderabad, Goa, and Dubai.

In 2018, the institute was awarded the Institute of Eminence status, and its widespread alumni network has significantly impacted academia, entrepreneurship, corporates, research, arts, and social activism.

Admission – To seek admission in BITS Pilani, students are required to clear the All India computerized entrance exam, BITSAT, which is an admission test conducted by BITS.

Placements – The college got the highest CTC of INR 45 LPA and the average CTC of INR 18.5 LPA in the placement drive of 2021. Besides, a total of 1498 students were placed, achieving 99% placements.

Fee structure – INR 78,500 per sem with hostel and mess charges of INR 18,000 per sem.

  • Delhi Technological University

Delhi technological university is a government university in Delhi, also known as the Delhi college of engineering. DTU was established in 1941, and after being affiliated to the University of Delhi, since 1952, it has been providing engineering degrees to students. 

The campus of DCE is linked by road and includes the facilities like a computer centre, library, eight boys and six girls hostels, a sports complex, and a married couples hostel. It also provides residential facilities for its staff and faculty and incorporates an auditorium the two open-air theatres. One is an OAT – open-air theatre, and the second is Mini-OAT.

In 2017, the University incorporated a new campus in Vivek Vihar, named as University School of Management and Entrepreneurship, for graduation and post-graduation courses in management. DTU is ranked as one of the top engineering colleges in India besides NITs and IITs.

Admission – Admission for an engineering course is sought based on AIR secured in the JEE main examination. 

Placements – About 153 students, 57 students were the first time recruiters in the session of over 100+ companies. The highest CTC was 13 LPA, and the average CTC was INR 7.2 LPA, as per the 2020 placement drive.

Fee structure – the fee is INR 75,000 per annum 

  • Arya College Jaipur Main Campus

Admission – As per the engineering courses admission eligibility criteria, to seek admission in Arya college Jaipur main campus for the BTech course, one should attain a minimum academic qualification in class 12th.

Placements – over 100+ top companies recruitment arrive on the campus, and 99% of students get placed. As per the 2021 placement record, the highest CPC was INR 15 LPA.

Fee structure – for the Btech programme, the engineering college fee structure comprises a total of INR 96104 per annum for the course, and INR 89000 for the hostel, making it one of the affordable studying in India.

  • IIIT Hyderabad

IIIT Hyderabad or the International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad is one of India’s top best engineering colleges with engineering specialisations. Situated in Hyderabad, Telangana, the university was established in 1998 under a non-profit private-public partnership, focusing on IT and other fields including Computer science, computer-aided structural, and electronics and communication engineering.

It was the first-ever IIIT to be established in India and comprises about 1800 students with over 85 faculties. Popular for its deep and narrow focus on computer science, the university is divided into multiple research labs and centres and is one of the top research universities in India.

Admission – to seek admission in IIIT Hyderabad for Btech or Mtech course, the student must have attempted the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE mains. In addition, for the dual degree programs, the university provides its research-oriented examination and olympiads like the International Olympiad in Informatics.

Placements – as per the placement drive of 2020-21, the college had about 93 companies registered for placements and, till 2019, has achieved a 100% placement record. The highest CTC is INR 85 LPA, and some of the companies arriving are Uber, Amazon, Google, etc.

Fee structure – INR 3,00,000 per annum each is the single and dual degree course fee structure.
