Anxiety is a response to danger that has its purpose, but often goes haywire. Being anxious over getting a job, a doctor’s appointment, or anything else intimidating is normal. However, the problem comes when your anxiety is out of control. You get anxious over the most menial things and your brain just won’t turn off. It can keep you up at night. It can prevent you from getting your work done. Anxiety is tough to conquer, but there are some ways you can do it. Here are a few ways.
You’ve probably heard to stop and breathe a few times as an anxiety solution, but have you really tried deep breathing? If not, it could help. Deep breathing reminds you that you’re still in control. It can calm your body and make your mind feel clearer.
There is no right breathing technique. You can research some techniques and try a few of them. Often, it involves sitting down in a quiet place, taking a few deep breaths, and feeling the air go through your body.

Anxiety should never control your life. Don’t be someone who succumbs to anxiety, but instead be someone who fights back. Life is too short to worry too much about everything. Instead, you should focus on improvement and you’ll last a long time.
