NEET is a national entrance examination which is conducted to streamline the admission process of the medical aspirants year after year. The NEET UG online counselling will be administered by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). It will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee. All the seats of Central and Deemed Universities, seats reserved for Wards of IP quota (Insured Persons) in ESIC medical colleges and seats available at the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) Pune. The counselling of NEET 2019 for the remaining 85% State Quota seats of government colleges and the private colleges will be conducted by the state governing authorities respectively. NEET 2019 UG counselling will be administered in two rounds for the 15% All India Quota seats. For the Central & Deemed Universities, the counselling will be conducted in three rounds. The counseling result of NEET 2019 will be released in the form of the seat allotment list and seat allotment letter.
Note: In order to be eligible for NEET 2019 counseling, students need to secure at least 50th percentile. 45th percentile for General and PWD candidates and 40th percentile for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
